Farmer John Hohmann, M.D. and his wife Anne have been farming their 217-acre farm in Pataskala, Ohio since 1972. They have given the development rights to the farm to the Ohio Department of Agriculture, so the farm will remain in agriculture in perpetuity.

They sell chemical-free sweet corn, tomatoes, brassicas, mixed hay (certifiable), horseradish, Concord grapes, eggs from cage-free chickens, garden plants, farm-milled hardwood lumber, and grass-fed lean beef.

It was a pleasure meeting John and his wife Anne, and hearing about the history of his farm. He has an impressive series of rain-collection systems and cisterns that he uses on his farm and was very informative about how they work and excited to show them off.
